We are building modern and digital infrastructure to enable the planning and operation of neighborhoods to be designed more efficiently, and to promote innovation. This includes sensors, networks (LoRaWAN, 5G) and design elements for public spaces.
On the site of the former Tegel Airport, a research and industrial park for urban technologies is being developed – the Urban Tech Republic. The development will bring Berlin new spaces for industry, commerce and science. The FUTR HUB is part of the Urban Tech Republic.
